Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Who can become an invoice buyer?
Currently, HiveTerminal is available for use by persons of legal age who are resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein. For persons residing outside of these countries, a Swiss bank account is required.
2. Is there a minimum investment cap?
You can buy invoices for as low as EUR/CHF 100 or as much as several tens of thousands of EUR/CHF.
3. Who bears the default risk?
In so-called non-recourse factoring, the invoice buyer bears the default risk of the invoice (receivable). The actual return to be expected depends on the composition of your portfolio1.
4. Do debtors confirm the validity of the invoices?
In open factoring, the debtor confirms the invoice to be sold. In silent factoring, there is no confirmation by the debtor, but in this case, HiveTerminal sets stricter acceptance criteria for invoice sellers.
5. How high are the commission and fees?
The invoice buyer pays a service fee according to the generally valid fee table on your Cockpit (Login > Market > Fees), which ranges from 0.45% to 1.50% depending on the invoice amount.
